About me

I am a young contemporary artist, painter and musician. I was born in England and am currently based in Czechia, where I study for a fine arts degree at Brno University of Technology. Alongside painting and composing music I also experiment with filmmaking, animation and sculpture, and I also have acting and voice acting experience. In my artwork, I'm currently examining various forms of life and death, from the problematisation of life preservation to organic decay and decomposition. I mostly work in oils, but I also experiment with watercolour and graphic techniques such as lino cutting and monotypes. I've recently started working with clay and cement in my sculpting. In 2022 I showcased around 40 paintings and prints as a part of an art festival Tufest. In May of 2023 I was a part of a group exhibition 'Wish you were here' in Antwerp with the artist collective Cane-yo. In September 2023 I had my works shown in another Cane-yo group exhibition 'Rock & Paper' in Gibraltar. I have been published in the 12th and 16th issues of the 'Voice of Artists' series of journals by Artit magazine in London, the 16th being '100 Artists Bringing Figures to Life'. Most recently, Artit published my interview with them for their annual 'Spotlight' series, where I delve into detail about my artistic views and practice. I am also working on my debut solo album as well as playing the keyboard in a nu metal band and singing in a post-punk band.
